Mental Health Minnesota will host its “Steps to Employment” peer-to-peer workshop on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Chanhassen Library, from 10 AM to 6 PM. “Steps to Employment” is a workshop designed for people who are living with mental illness and are interested in employment as a part of their recovery, but have experienced barriers and challenges to successful employment. Our peer-to-peer approach means that those teaching the workshop have also struggled with mental illness and employment, and will share their experience, as well as work with attendees to develop their own plan for successful employment. Following the one-day session, attendees will also have the opportunity to stay connected with peers as they work on their goals over six months.
Registration is free, and attendees will receive a boxed lunch as a part of their registration for this day-long workshop.
